Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. By accepting our Terms of Service during registration you also consent to this policy.

1. What We Collect

During registration:

  • Email address (for OTP login)
  • Legal name, date of birth, country of residence, nationality (KYC)
  • Chosen display name and avatar

While you use the Service:

  • Player UUID (our internal account identifier)
  • IP address and user agent (for security and abuse prevention)
  • Page URLs and event names (e.g. match_end, coin_pack_purchase) for product analytics
  • Attribution parameters (UTM tags, referrer URL) on first visit
  • Match results, ratings, wallet balances, and transaction history

2. Sub-Processors

We share a subset of the data above with the following third parties:

  • Immutable Audience — analytics platform. Receives your email address (as a user trait), player UUID, IP, user agent, page URL, attribution parameters, and event names. See their privacy policy.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure provider (Cognito for email OTP, RDS for database, Lambda for the API).
  • Discord, X (Twitter), Telegram — only if you opt in to social verification. We use OAuth/Login Widgets to verify membership/follow status; we do not store OAuth tokens.

3. Avalanche Blockchain

If you connect a crypto wallet, your wallet address and on-chain transactions are publicly visible on the Avalanche network. This is inherent to public blockchains and is not under our control.

4. Your Rights

You may request:

  • A copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion of your account and associated analytics data

Email support@bjb.gg with your player UUID. Deletion requests are forwarded to all sub-processors above.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • bjb_session (HttpOnly) — your authenticated session
  • bjb_logged_in — non-sensitive flag so the UI knows you're logged in
  • Anonymous analytics cookie set by Immutable Audience, scoped to .bjb.gg so it survives navigating between the marketing site and the game client

6. Changes

Material changes to this policy will trigger a re-prompt on next login.
